and its picturesque crater lakes; the hot springs and fumaroles of the mystical Furnas Valley; and much more. Horta, Faial, Azores The pretty Faial Island is home to Horta, a marvellous, unspoilt treasure. You’ll be almost immediately enveloped in beauty at the Blue Flag marina, home to an open-air exhibition of visiting sailors’ paintings. Stunning landscapes surround the city – a mix of lakes, cliffs and valleys – as well as the intriguing volcanic structures, Caldeira and Capelinhos. Hamilton, Bermuda Bermuda’s beaches rank among the best in the world and are blessed with crystal-clear, warm waters and soft pink sands. Inside the azure seas are a wealth of coral reefs and an abundance of brightly coloured tropical fish, perfect for snorkelling. Hidden deep beneath the surface of the island are the spectacular Crystal and Fantasy Caves. These astonishing subterranean caverns, also known as ‘Bermuda’s true hidden treasures’, are home to an array of crystallised stalactites and stalagmites. Be sure to visit the Royal Naval Dockyard too. This historic fortress was built in 1795 to defend British superiority on the seas, and is now a thriving visitor centre. «RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE There will be a varied and compelling programme of experiences on offer in Bermuda, both ashore and on board. We are working with the preferred tour provider for the America’s Cup to ensure you get the most from this unique holiday. There will be the chance to really get in the America’s Cup spirit on the non-race days, so you’re ready to soak up the atmosphere and excitement to the full on race days (Saturday and Sunday). And of course our regular Bermuda tours programme will be offered too. Lajes das Flores, Azores Lajes das Flores is the westernmost island of the Azores, named after the abundance of colourful flowers flourishing in the temperate climate, including hydrangeas, cannas and wild roses. Blend in the typically rugged volcanic landscapes, interspersed with lakes and waterfalls, and you’ll discover an unspoilt treasure. This is exploration at its most rewarding. Praia da Vitória, Terceira, Azores Praia da Vitória was once heavily fortified and parts of the old town wall can still be seen, overlooked by the 16th century Fort of Santa Catarina.
