Tempelfjorden and Prins Christiansund – two waterways
rated highly by Fred. Olsen guests – are characterised
by wild, rugged scenery and glaciers. Trollfjord offers
one of the most dramatic cruising experiences on Earth.
The mountainsides feel almost close enough to touch.
Meanwhile, the narrow passageway of Raftsundet is
surrounded by particularly jagged peaks.

Reaching Norway’s Arctic region
brings a different side of the country. At
Torghatten, for instance, you’ll see why
legend insists that its distinctive hole was
created by the Horseman’s arrow. While
the Seven Sisters mountain range is said
to represent seven female trolls who were
turned to stone. Heading further north,
you can find the iconic horn at North
Cape, and the volcanic Jan Mayen Island,
which you pass when visiting Svalbard.
