IN THE FALL
19 nights | 28th September 2022 | From Liverpool | Cruise Code S2226
This one-of-a-kind journey has been carefully planned
to explore seven ports, across three Canadian provinces,
and all in just 19 nights. Borealis’ impressive sailing speed
means you’ll be able to experience so much, but with the
leisurely pace of holidaymaking you expect on board a
Fred. Olsen cruise. What’s more, it’s all perfectly timed to
coincide with the country’s famous fall.
Each destination has been picked for its natural beauty, with forests,
trails and national parks all within reach. In Quebec Province, the
city of Gaspé awaits. From here you can visit the Forillon National
Park to admire the fall foliage, before visiting Baie-Comeau, part of
the Manicouagan Uapishka Biosphere Reserve. In Québec City, you
will have the chance to admire the city’s famous Château Frontenac
hotel and explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Québec.
Elsewhere in Canada, Borealis will call into Sydney in Nova Scotia
– perfectly placed for exploring the Cape Breton Highlands – and
Newfoundland’s St Johns, which is brimming with old world charm.
The city of Corner Brook is steeped in history, and is home to the
Captain James Cook Monument.
If that’s not enough, your ship will journey down the lesser-known
Saguenay River, allowing time on deck to appreciate the seasonal
colours of the surrounding fjord-like landscape.
Before returning to Liverpool you will have the chance to visit
Belfast, Northern Ireland, for one last day of exploration.
